Sam Sloma
Chartered Financial Planner
Managing Director

  • Sam has recently turned 40, is married to Laura and they live in North London with their three daughters.

    His background is a little different from the average financial adviser. He left school at 16 to pursue a professional football career. He retired at 26 after deciding it was time to get married, start a family and pursue a new vocation.

    That vocation became financial planning. Sam is a Chartered Financial Planner, is studying to become a Certified Financial Planner and aims to be a Fellow of the PFS before turning 45.

    As Managing Director, Sam sets the vision for Engage & champions our commitment to better client outcomes.

 
 
 

Stevie Uddin
Operations Director eeeeeeee

  • Stevie is a diploma- qualified financial adviser and financial coach, and is passionate about the client experience.

    She manages all the operational and technical areas of the business, ensuring that every process, document and system is selected, designed and implemented with the clients’ needs in mind.

    Using professional persistence to get the job done, Stevie’s key priority is developing and challenging new ideas to improve processes and outcomes, ensuring that each client has the optimum experience at every touchpoint with Engage.

 

Toby Reynolds
Chartered Wealth Manager

  • Toby has more than 20 years of experience in financial services and has worked primarily with private clients, trusts and charities.

    Previously with Smith & Williamson, Bestinvest, Barclays Wealth and abrdn (previously Standard Life), Toby has extensive experience helping clients achieve their financial aspirations; wealth accumulation, regular withdrawals, pre and post-retirement and legacy strategies, using various tax efficient wrappers and trusts.

    Toby is a Chartered Fellow and Chartered Wealth Manager of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments (CISI).

 

Emily Woolf
Financial Planner

  • Emily joined the Engage team in 2020 as a graduate, and qualified as a Financial Planner in record time whilst learning on the job. She is close to completing her journey to become chartered.

    Emily specialises in guiding clients through the start of their wealth-building journey. She also supports Sam and Toby in all areas of client management, ensuring the Engage team can continue to provide their award-winning level of service.

Michelle Frost
Senior Administrator

  • Michelle ensures our administration operation runs smoothly, supporting the team and ensuring that Engage’s vision is driven forward in all day-to-day organisational tasks.

 

Benjamin Fabi
Paraplanner

  • A highly qualified and experienced paraplanner, providing the team with independent technical support.

Caroline Greaves
Compliance Consultant

  • Caroline ensures we stay up to date with current regulatory challenges and our advice is of the highest quality.

 
 

Charity.

Giving Back.

Each year Engage partner with a charity with the aim of doing what we can to support others.
We are really proud and excited to be continuing to support the brilliant Spread a Smile this year.

Spread a Smile are a wonderful charity that take magicians, artists, singers, poets, face-painters, fairies and therapy dogs into 5 of London’s largest hospitals to entertain children aged 0-18 years old who are seriously and terminally ill.

Over the last few years the Engage team and our families have completed marathons and half-marathons, abseiled down buildings, taken part in golf days, volunteered at events and run eBay sales to show our support.
